Meet The Designer
Rhoda Walkup
Rhoda Walkup’s true passion is collaborating with clients to craft beautiful, deeply personal spaces that reflect their unique individuality. By tailoring the design experience to each client’s personal taste , she curates layered interiors by blending stories and style, creating comfortable homes focused on habitation rather than staged perfection
The Curated Interior Story
Rhoda Walkup grew up soaking in all things interior design. Whether roaming through her aunt and uncle’s furniture store Koontz Company, rearranging and decorating her bedroom, or simply taking in every detail of family and friends’ homes- she was enchanted by the art of beautiful, personal spaces.
As a newlywed just starting out, she did not imagine moving 10 times in 13 years, but it was through those moves that she developed the design of a lived-in home, lovingly curated layer by layer. Drawing from her memory bank of special places and spaces from her history, she created a home that is not only beautiful, but comfortable…filled with items that hold deep meaning.
What began as friends and family asking her to help them decorate here and there turned into a more formal endeavor in 2020. Since then she has had the honor of helping families blend stories and style to create their own one-of-a-kind spaces, including: transforming a historic building into a high school campus, creating a welcoming medical office, and bringing interest and style to multiple local businesses.
